The CIC’s model the TED Talks, where experts get 20 minutes or less to share their unique program/technique/practice concept. The TED model is highly respected and powerful for spreading new ideas and attracts top world talent. <br />
The CIC’s at SYTAR provide a balance to the afternoon tracks of depth of theory/evidence/practice with specific topics along certain tracks with little audience interaction.
<br />
In comparison, the CICs are more intimate, provide more exposure to colleagues, encourage interaction with presenters immediately afterward and during the conference, and from a practical community-building perspective, offer the opportunity to connect with someone for the upcoming lunch hour.
