Previous SYTARs attendees compassionately witnessed labor disputes at the site of the meeting. For SYTAR 2009 attendees will be welcomed to the dispute-free, graciously appointed and vegetarian friendly Marriott Hotel. The Los Angeles Airport Marriott is located within a free-shuttle bus distance from the Los Angeles International Airport.

Call for "Common Interest Community" Workshops Presentations

We invite you to submit your work to be presented on Thursday afternoon in one of the concurrent workshops dedicated to specific areas of Yoga Therapy. These Common Interest Community (CIC) Workshops will provide a platform for the presentation of innovative concepts, interaction and dialogue among Yoga therapists. Topics for the CIC Workshops were chosen from a survey of attendees from the IAYT SYTAR 2008. The specific areas for the CIC workshops are:
1. Musculo-Skeletal
2. Physiological
3. Mental/Emotional Health
4. Inspirational/Spiritual
5. Seniors
6. Business/Professional Development
7. Seriously Ill and End of Life

Call for Research Abstracts

SYTAR 2009 offers opportunities for researchers and clinicians to share important findings with the attendees. Research related Abstracts for the conference will be selected for oral or poster presentations. Click here for complete submission information.
