Invitation to exhibit

The International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) is pleased to announce the second Symposium on Yoga Therapy and Research (SYTAR 2008). The impetus for SYTAR is to respond to the rapidly growing field of Yoga therapy in the US. SYTAR's mission is to establish an annual professional gathering for Yoga teachers, Yoga therapists, Yoga researchers and health professionals who use Yoga in their work.

SYTAR 2007 was sold out six months in advance of the symposium. Following the  successful debut of SYTAR 2007 we continue to build on the SYTAR tradition by bringing together the contemporary teachings of many distinguished Yoga teachers, therapists, lineages and schools as well as showcase important new research and public policy issues facing Yoga as an emerging complementary and alternative medical profession. Over 30 luminaries in their fields have confirmed their participation.

We are looking forward to your company as an exhibitor at this exciting and unique event. Last year SYTAR attracted over 800 participants!  SYTAR 2008 expects the same number of attendees. Exhibits are located just across the main lecture room. Meal functions and other events are scheduled to channel the maximum number of attendees through the exhibit area. There will be ample opportunities for participants to interact with the commercial sponsors.

We are marketing SYTAR 2008 nationwide. 40 percent of participants from California and surrounding states are expected. Marketing tools include ads in journals, mailing of brochures, postcards and flyers and e-blasts targeting over 15 thousand combined members of IAYT and several other complimentary professional associations.  Ads in the following publications can be anticipated:
